Retail powerhouse, Konga has rolled out a mouth-watering line up of products for the September 2020 edition of Konga Last Price, a monthly live online auction pioneered by the foremost composite e-Commerce giant.
The digital auction is set to hold on Monday September 7, 2020 from 12pm to 2pm.
Konga Last Price is a monthly affair which holds every first Monday. Equally important, Konga has lined up a variety of exciting products from a number of categories including Home & Kitchen, Electronics, Phones & Tablets, Drinks & Groceries, among others for Monday’s event.
Specifically, the products on offer for prospective bidders include air conditioners, gas cookers, washing machines, blenders and smoothie makers, Home Theatre Systems, TV sets, microwave, sandwich makers and electric kettles, among others; quality FMCG products, mobile phones, computing devices, generators and other power solutions, all sourced directly from the biggest brands.
The anticipation and excitement for the September 2020 edition of the live online auction is further propelled by the fact that Konga had given shoppers so much to look forward to, after it suspended the August edition of the auction with the promise to make this month’s edition a bumper package.
In view of the foregoing, many eager shoppers who have expressed their determination to take full advantage of the bumper offer, are hopeful of witnessing a rich assortment of products in what is bound to go down as a keenly-contested auction on Monday.
Michael Akinkugbe, a regular participant in the Konga live online auction since it kicked off in May 2020, disclosed that he is ready for the September edition on Monday.
‘‘I have already identified the products I will be bidding for on Monday. In fact, I can’t wait for the Konga auction to start. The date is a perfect one, coming at a time when salaries have been paid, so I expect a lot of people to be involved. But I am ready to battle hard for the gadgets I want.
‘‘It was very tough not being able to participate in the auction in August. But when I enquired and Konga informed me that we would be experiencing a mega auction in September, I was very pleased and quickly made up my mind not to miss out. I have bought a lot of products at very good prices through the Konga auction since it started in May. So, it is a good avenue for me and others to acquire much-needed household appliances and other gadgets,’’ he said.
Konga launched the digital auction earlier this year in what was another pioneering effort by the leading e-Commerce brand. The auction, hosted live across the company’s various online channels, offers shoppers a chance to bid for heavily discounted products. The event is hosted concurrently across Konga’s social media channels on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and the website – http://www.konga.com
Meanwhile, participation figures in the live auction has continued to grow since it was first launched and currently attracts over 300,000 bargain-hungry shoppers.
Usually, there are three sessions – a live auction across Konga’s social media channels; a timed auction on the website and a flash sale on social media involving no bids which will run concurrently with the social media live auction. Intending participants on the social media live auction are expected to submit their bids via comments with their name, phone number, product and bidding price, with each participant allowed to purchase a maximum of three products per category. Subsequently, bid winners will be contacted for payment confirmations via bank transfers at the end of the social media live auction.
Konga made history on Friday, May 1, 2020 after the e-commerce giant successfully hosted what went down as the first ever live online auction by a retail brand in Africa.
